Water Rafting In Alaska With Incontinence

After much persuasion that white water rafting is lots of fun and not dangerous, I was much assured that there were other women in their seventies who had wanted to do white water rafting all their lives and were doing it for the first time!

We signed up with Denali Outdoors Adventure to take us down the Nenana River with Dillion as our oarsman. In our boat were 7 women of varying ages, from fifties to sixties to seventies. There was so much laughter, talking, flirting, and gossiping that one cannot help but enjoy the company of the ride and the choppiness of the water. As a matter of fact, the women were much more impressed with rough waters where the water breaks and spills over into the rubber dinghy. They hollered, hung on, yelled and followed with more laughter.

Who says that women who are in their senior years cannot have fun going white water rafting! There is much appreciation for women who are not afraid to take risks and get wet with white water rafting even if they are in their seventies.

At the end of the trip, the ladies were asked to hang our rubber protective clothing up to dry. One even commented that it is too late, as they have already wet it on the inside. All the ladies let out a loud laughter, much to the embarrassment of Dillion!
